Training

FACS provides a comprehensive training program. Our experienced instructors include engineers with real world experience. Training sessions feature hands-on tasks and everyday workflow scenarios.

Initial Training

Initial Training involves a two-day in-person visit. This group session includes both instructor demonstration and hands-on learning, and is accompanied by a Training Playbook. In just two days of Initial Training, your team will be ready to produce inspector reports in the field, process RFIs online, create digital submittals and much more.

The individual sessions are broken down as follows:

  • Field Training: On Day One the instructor presents the FACS Solution to your entire staff including inspectors and managers. The focus is on field data collection and reporting while integrating real world examples and presenting tips and tricks for the staff to use. All elements of the system are presented in a typical project scenario from field data collection to the processing of a payment and more.
  • Office/Manager Training: The second day of training is focused on helping office personnel and management use the powerful FACS tools to review inspector reports, process payments, view reports and correspond with the contractors. We also train users how to use our extensive Project Administration features.
  • First Pay Estimate Close: When you are ready to close your first estimate, we're there with you. An online training Webinar is scheduled with your Regional Manager to walk through running the necessary reports to generate your first Pay Estimate.

Free Monthly Training Webinars

Free monthly Webinars are provided for general questions and as a refresher to help new hires become familiarized with the system.

Instructional Online Videos

Instructional videos are also available online and accessible to FACS clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
